Mindset Tips from Someone Who Understands✨

One thing that everyone seems to be talking about lately is mindset. And that is something that anyone who has the challenge of a mental illness, or physical disease knows a lot about; specifically how it can impact your day to day life.

As I sat down to craft this email for you today, I'll be honest...it was a challenge to bring my mindset to a place of productivity + positivity. Not because this is a task that I do not enjoy, but simply because my own thoughts & mindset was getting in my own way. 

While working through my own thoughts, I suddenly remembered a chat that I had with Damian Washington, from No Stress MS, about a year ago now on the very topic of mindset!! Damian was diagnosed with MS 6 years ago now, and has his own YouTube channel where he focuses on helping those with MS feel seen, heard, and understood.

                                                                     

Not only is his energy infectious, and he can instantly make you smile, but the nuggets of wisdom he shared when it comes to mindset are invaluable. It is a bit of a longer discussion, however I feel as though it is one that is worth the listen...if not multiple listens through! Here are some talking points we touched upon.
