Rough Exercise Day? Try this!

Sep 13, 2022

Another week, another Q&A  about MS management!

Question: Some days my legs are very tired. My thighs are weak. How should I work exercise into my daily routine on these challenging days?

Answer: Research now proves that exercising throughout the day is just as effective as exercising all at once! Therefore, you can split up your exercises into smaller portions that feel doable - perhaps 5 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the afternoon, 8 minutes in the early evening. This allows your muscles a longer rest time and puts less stress on your body!

The important thing to remember is that SOMETHING is better than nothing. If you're able to exercise for a total of 10 minutes in one day...great! If other days you're able to exercise for 45 minutes...awesome! Work with where you are each and try not to judge yourself for doing less on some days.
