The Power of Positive Thinking🧐

Aug 30, 2022

Hi there,

Did you know that the average person thinks 60,000 thoughts per day, and 75% of those thoughts are negative?!

That means that you're thinking 45,000 negative thoughts a day.

45,000!

The narrative could be anything from:

  • "I'm not good enough."
  • "I've failed at everything I've done before."
  • "I'm not as good as they are" to 44,997 other thoughts.

And these thoughts? They are toxic.

The best thing we can do is stop mid-thought and CHANGE THE NARRATIVE.

In other words, tell yourself a new story.

The story you tell yourself can give you life, or it can slowly disintegrate your belief and passion for what you do. The choice is yours.

Think of it this way - you have 60,000 opportunities to tell yourself a story that is unabashedly true: I am enough.

It's time to change from toxicity to transformation. It might be difficult, but I know you can do it. As author Glennon Doyle says, "We can do hard things."

All my best,

Dr. Gretchen, PT
