How frustrating is it when you work so hard to get your patient to improve their function, but it just doesn’t happen?

But how can I be so sure that this works?
Â
Because before I became an MS Specialist, I was...
...frantic when a new patient came in with a diagnosis that I hadn’t treated before or hadn’t had success with in the past
...overwhelmed from working too many hours treating and documenting visits, which left no time to research appropriate techniques
...burnt out with no energy or mental capacity to learn something new
Sound familiar?
Fast-forward to now: I’ve helped hundreds of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other therapy-based clinicians achieve these results and more, and now I want to help you!
Here's what some students have said...
“Due to your programs & guidance, my patients with MS are finally improving their walking & feeling like they’re back in control!”
“I have a never ending list of treatment ideas for every client with MS & I know they’ll make a difference for them. I can’t thank you enough for giving me everything I need to know all in one place.”
“I’m getting more visits from insurance companies for each patient with MS & my boss promoted me since I’m expanding the clinic by bringing in more patients with MS & neuro diagnoses.”
“I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent researching how to treat someone with MS & ended up with no answers or no way to apply what I learned. Your toolkit is a gold mine and is my go-to one stop shop for everything I need!”
This MS Therapist Toolkit will help you go from feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and frustrated to feeling empowered, motivated, and confident working with people who have neuromuscular diseases.
When a patient with MS lands on your schedule, do you head to Google, research articles, and colleagues to see how to help someone with an autoimmune & neuromuscular condition, but end up feeling even more confused?
Or do you treat them with orthopedic techniques and find that it’s not helping one bit?
And you’re too busy treating & documenting visits to attend continuing eduction courses, are feeling burnt out, stuck, and like you’re aiming in the dark?

Here’s the hard truth:
Every person diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis has different symptoms and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to treating MS. But orthopedic techniques used for someone with MS will not make a difference for the majority of people with MS.
Â
Why?Â
Because MS is not an orthopedic condition. Their symptoms are due to changes in their neural pathways, which requires treatment focusing on neural pathways in the brain and spinal cord.
I'm teaching you how to treat according to MS-specific techniques and methods in the MS Therapist Toolkit.
But don’t feel embarrassed - it’s not your fault.
Â
Your graduate program likely taught you about MS within a few hours, at most, and it was never demonstrated or implemented.
Â
But that’s okay! As long as you realize from this moment on that you don’t need to push your patients harder, waste time researching outdated techniques that are tricky to implement, or use orthopedic exercises.
You need an MS-Specific approach… which I’ll teach you in the MS Therapist Toolkit.
It’s not right that physical therapists are stuck working within one skillset that doesn’t apply to other populations.
As a brand new physical therapist, all I wanted to do was make a difference in each of my patients lives.

I'm Dr. Gretchen,
Physical Therapist &
Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist.
Â
I’m also the author of the book The MSing Link - The Essential Guide to Improve Walking, Strength & Balance for People with Multiple Sclerosis and founded The MSing Link Online Wellness Program, which offers services to help people with MS worldwide feel more confident in their strength, walking, and daily activities.
Since then, I've been featured in publications such as Forbes, National MS Society, Overcoming MS, MS-UK, and MS Views & News. I'm also a frequent presenter at national & international MS conferences.
My focus lies in helping my clients feel more empowered and hopeful through the improvements they see in their mobility through exercises and strategies utilizing neuroplasticity, targeting improvements in the neural pathways in the brain and spinal cord as well as muscles.
So how did I get here?
Â
When I was in my twenties, I lived in Boston, MA and was a newer physical therapist working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.
Every day I was seeing patients from all walks of life, mostly coming to me from previous injuries.
Â
One day, I met a new patient who was 24 with Multiple Sclerosis. She had a single goal of being able to stand long enough to go to a bar with her friends.
Â
Because of that I really started to think about PT to help not just with pain & regaining strength, but also with a chronic, progressive disease that affect functional tasks that most of us take for granted.
I dove deeper into research and decided to become an MS Specialist. After countless hours of studying, observing, practicing, and researching, I officially became an MS-certified specialist.
Â

When you're fully equipped with the techniques and practices to treat people with MS, you can...

âś” Become the go-to person in your clinic and in your community for treating Multiple Sclerosis & other neuromuscular diseases
Â
✔ Make a bigger impact in every patient’s life and help more people
